Day 1
Upon arriving in Jinan, your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then you will go to see the beautiful Daming Lake. With weeping willows, scattered flowers and trees all over the banks, Daming Lake has been full of lotuses ever since ancient times. The beauty of the lake is best manifested in the following verse, "With four sides of lotus with three willows, the lake landscape represents half beauty of the city". Your next station is Baotu Spring Park, the best one among the famous 72 springs in Jinan which enjoys the reputation of" the first spring under the heaven". With clear and crystal spring pools and resplendent and magnificent pavilions, the Baotu Spring Park is an earthly fairyland which makes tourists hardly tear themselves away.

Day 2
Today you will go to Qufu which is the hometown of the great Chinese philosopher and educator Confucius. First is Qufu Temple of Confucius. Among many preserved Confucian temples of different dynasties all over China, the Temple of Confucius in Qufu is the largest and earliest one. Qufu Temple of Confucius, Qufu Confucian Mansion, Qufu Confucian Cemetery are called Three Confucians, which are now one of the four extant great architectural complexes in China. And today you will visit them one by one. Qufu Confucian Mansion is also called Yanshenggong Mansion, a large house consisting of 463 halls, rooms, towers and houses, covering an area of 13.3 hectares-the largest landlord manor in China's history. Qufu Confucian Cemetery is the graveyard of the Confucian family and has a history of more than 2340 years.

Day 3
Today’s highlight is Mount Tai. Mount Tai lies in the territory of Tai'an of Shandong province. Mount Tai is the first mountain of the Five Mountains. The best time for touring around Mount Tai is April to November. If you want to enjoy the sunrise, the best time is autumn. It is a challenging climb up to the Tai Mountain. Here you have the option of taking the vehicle to the highest point or down to the foot in a few minutes instead of climbing more than 1,605 steps, while you can also have a bird view of the wall.

Day 4
Leave Jinan to Yantai and go to visit Penglai Pavilion. Penglai Pavilion stands on the Peak of Danya Mountain with clouds around and boasts picturesque sight. The grand ancient buildings covers an area of 18900 square kilometers and consists of Penglai Pavilion, Tianhou Palace, Longwu Palace, lvzu Palace, Sanqing Palace, Mituo temple and some outbuildings. Because of its magic vision and grand scale, it is eponymous with Huanghe Pavilion, Yueyang Pavilion and Tengwang Pavilion which are crowned as 'Four Famous Pavilions in China'. There are numerous paintings, art works, and inscriptions of famous scholars in the pavilion.

Day 5
There are some other attractions in Yantai. Today you will continue your trip in Yantai. First is Changyu Wine-Culture Museum, located at the formal site of Chongyu Wine Company in Yantai City, showcases the history. The museum contains two parts: a display area and an underground wine cellar. And Yantai Mountain is the symbol of Yantai City. Yantai Mountain is a green jade setting on the chest of Yantai seashore and a hill running the blood of Yantai city. Surrounded by seas in three directions, Yantai Mountain stands upright with verdant forest and delicate sight. In Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty, to defend attack of Japanese invaders the defence 'Yundou dun’ (also called beacon tower) was built here.

Day 6
You will leave Yantai to Weihai. Facing the Yellow River and the Weihai bay, Liugong Island has a fame as "unsinkable battleship". The island is covered with dense forest, mostof which are dark pine trees. The vegetation is more than 2700 mu, and has been designated as the civilized cultural scenic spots by the nation. Day 7
Go to Qingdao, a beautiful seaside city. First you will go to visit the symbol of the city, Zhan Bridge( Zhanqiao Pier). Built in 1891 as a naval pier, now the Zhanqiao Pier is symbol of the Qingdao city. It is 440 meters long reaching into Qingdao Bay. At the southern end of it, there is a traditional 2-story pavilion. It is an ideal place to enjoy the sea view. Then you will make a visit to Tsingtao Beer Museum. It is China's first facility where selected Tsingtao brand beers and brewing techniques are on display.There is also a bar and a shop in the museum. And tour Badaguan Scenic Area. The several boulevards near the sea refers to Badaguan, here the shade of trees make you linger on, the famous Huaming Building , Princess Building and other villas are full of exoticism.

Day 8
Today is your last day in Shangdong Province. You will first go to Mt. Laoshan. Different from many famous mountains in China, Lao Mountain rises from the sea level, and has a coast line of 87 kilometers, structuring a wonder on the sea. Next is Taiqing Palace. As the birth place of Laozi, it has more than 140 rooms including Three Gods' Hall, Three Purities' Hall and Three Emperors' Hall. There are five Taiji Palace as the main buildings, a stone pillar with three cypresses around and many well preserved ancient articles. In the end, you will be transferred to airport or train station and leave Qingdao to your next destination.
