Arrive in Beijing Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Your guide will welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Later in the Forbidden City, you will see houses where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties perform their regular business and live their everyday lives. Later you will visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site with the world's largest imperial garden and more than 3,000 historical structures including pavilions, towers and arched bridges. Enjoy a Pecking Roasted Duck dinner. B,DDay 03Beijing The highlights today is an excursion to the Juyongguan great wall, located 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Changping County, about 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Beijing, is a renowned pass of the great wall of China.You will stop by the Cloisonne Factory to observe skilled artisans as they create intricate designs. You will also see the exterior of Olympic buildings-Bird's Nest to take some photos.Pay a visit to the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven. See the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine-Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old. BDay 04Beijing/Xi'an Take a Hutong Tour, visit some historic Hutongs ('narrow lanes') area by old-fashioned pedicab. Climb up the Drum Tower and see a traditional drum performance. Have lunch in a local family living in a courtyard-style home known as a Siheyuan. Fly to Xi'an. This evening, you will enjoy a magnificent Tang Dynasty Show and dinner in Tangyue Gong. B,L,DDay 05Xi'an Pay a visit to the Terracotta Warriors, an army of more than 8,000 life-sized statues buried with China's first Emperor for over 2,200 years. Enjoy a dumpling lunch. This afternoon, visit the exquisite Small wild goose pagoda and the Shaanxi History Museum. B,LDay 06Xi'an/chongqing This morning you will fly to chongqing. Enjoy a hotpot lunch.See the charming Giant Pandas at the Panda Room of chongqing Zoo. Your tour continues to chongqing People's Great Hall,which is a classical works of world's architecture published by Britain, embodied 43 contemporary structures in China.
B,LDay 07Yangtze cruise (chongqing) Board Victoria Cruises' ship this morning and set sail. Enjoy the ship's amenities before arriving in Fengdu. Shore excursion toFengdu Ghost City which is temples with statues of ghosts and devils. B, L, DDay 08Yangtze cruise Yangtze cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge hemmed by mossy cliffs. At Wushan, sail up the Daning River via cruiser to view the dramatic Small Three Gorges. Continue by sampan to the picturesque minigorges of the Ma Du River with its clear, swift water, unusual rock formations, and monkeys and goats along the banks. Alternatively, your excursion may be on Shennong Stream with its impressive small gorges. Sail on downstream through scenic Wu Gorge, celebrated for its Twelve Peaks. Next, cruise into Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. This evening, pass through the amazing ship locks at the Three Gorges Dam.
B, L, DDay 09Yangtze cruise (Yichang) After breakfast, visit San Dou Ping to see the massive Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project. After your tour, board the ship at the eastern mouth of the Xiling Gorge, in Yichang.
B, L, DDay 10Yangtze cruise (Wuhan) Arrive in Wuhan, a fusion of three cities spanning the Yangtze River. Disembark for a city sightseeing tour, including a visit to the Hubei Provincial Museum. Continue your downstream cruise later this afternoon.
B, L, DDay 11Yangtze cruise (Huangshan) The area around Guichi is well-known for its stunning natural beauty. Today's memorable shore excursion takes you to spectacular Mt. Huangshan, revered throughout China. The area was named a UNESCO World Heritage site for its exceptional natural beauty and valuable habitat for rare and endangered species. Experience the feeling of walking into a living Chinese ink painting, as the sheer peaks and their breathtaking vistas unfold before you. Alternatively, depending on weather and road conditions, your visit may be to dramatic Jiuhuashan, the Mountain of the Nine Lotuses. Return to the ship and sail on from Guichi this evening.
B, LDay 12Yangtze cruise (Nanjing) Arrive in Nanjing this morning, where your city tour visits Nanjing Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and a Qing dynasty-style Bazaar. Board your ship and continue sailing toward Shanghai.
BDay 13Shanghai Sail to Shanghai today. Disembark and take a tour of the city.
