Day 1
Arrive in Beijing. Meet your local representative and transfer to your hotel. Relax and enjoy remainder of the day in China’s historic and vibrant capital city.

Day 2
Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, and Forbidden City, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace. This was the palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors who ruled China for over 500 years. You will also tour the delicately crafted Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used to pray for good harvest. In the evening, you will eat the delicious Roast Duck.

Day 3
The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind. After lunch, you will take a tour of Ming Tombs and Sacred road. It is actually a tomb cluster of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), including thirteen emperors mausoleums, seven tombs for concubines and one grave for eunuchs.

Day 4
In the morning your local guide will escort you to the railway station for your train to Chengde. Upon arriving in Chengde, you will be met by your guide and escorted to the hotel. Then you’ll be taken to the Imperial Summer Villa, which is one of the three well-preserved magnificent ancient architectural complexes in China.

Day 5
Depart from your hotel to visit the famous Puning and Putuozongcheng Temples. It was built on the basis of mixing together the building characteristics of Hans traditional buildings and that of Tibet; it is the model of the fusion of Han peoples building style and Tibetan building style.

Day 6
Today, you will take a Hutong Tour (Chinese alleyways) by riding aboard a rickshaw pedicab through the narrow lanes of the old residential quarters. You will have the opportunity to take a glimpse of the local residents’ daily life. Shortly, you’ll take a drive to the Summer Palace, the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. Feast your eyes on the Long Corridor, Longevity Hill, and Kunming Lake.

Day 7
On this day you will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
