\Day 02BeijingThe highlights today is a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Mutianyu great wall, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind.BDay 03BeijingToday you will visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City that is the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace. This was the palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors who ruled China for over 500 years. Inside Forbidden City, You will also visit the Hall of Clocks and Watches, where about 200 clocks and watches from the imperial collection are on exhibition. The last attraction to stop today is Summer Palace, the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. Feast your eyes on the Long Corridor, Longevity Hill, and Kunming Lake. Boat Ride in Summer Palace.
BDay 04Beijing/Xi'anIn the morning you will take a Hutong Tour by rickshaw. Later you will visit beijing's spectacular Temple of Heaven, which is the site for the most important spiritual obligations of the Emperor. In the afternoon, you will take a flight to Xi'an, one of Chinese ancient capitals.
BDay 05Xi'anToday's activities start with visiting the qin dynasty wonders -- terracotta Warriors. Should be interested, you can drop in to the factory where you can witness the whole process of making the duplicates of the Warriors and Horses. Later you will stop at the Big wild goose pagoda. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang. In the afternoon, you will visit Muslim Quarters of Xi'an and Gao's Courtyard and enjoy a Shadow Play there.
BDay 06Xi'anFinishing your breakfast in the hotel, you will set off for the Shannxi History Museum. There are thousands of treasures on display such as magnificent bronzes and porcelain , which are from many Dynasties. Later, you are heading to the Forest of Stone Tabletswhich has a history dating back to 900 years ago and possesses a large collection of the earliest stone steles from different periods during the Han and the Qing Dynasty. After that, you have a tour to the City Wall that is the world's largest and most complete ancient castle of military facilities.
BDay 07Xi'an/chongqing/Yangtze RiverFly to chongqing, the youngest municipality directly under the central government, which is renowned as “Mountain City”. After lunch, you will stroll on the Foreigner’s Street, where you will find a world full of exoticism. Later in Hongya Cave (Hongyadong (Hanging Village)), you can view architectural complex leaning on cliffs.BDay 08Today visit the Fengdu Fengdu Ghost City known for its gardens, temples and statues of ghosts and devils.
B,L,DDay 09Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Take an excursion through the Small Three Gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.
B,L,DDay 10Morning visit the Three Gorges Dam at Sandouping, the largest project of its kind in the world. Arrive Yichang at 1:30pm, and disembark after lunch. Your local guide will meet you onboard and escort you to the airport for flight to shanghai.
BDay 11You will first visit the venerable and famous Buddhist temple, Jade Buddha Temple and one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens—Yuyuan garden. Out the Yuyuan garden, you can look around the Yuyuan Market, a crowded, bustling and touristy Bazaar, where you can make a tour of discovery of local folklore and Ming and Qing architecture.
BDay 12Depart shanghaiAfter breakfast you will take a departure transfer to the airport for the flight to next destination.B
