Today you will tour the Great Wall, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind  and the Beijing Olympic Green. From the Green, you can see the China National Stadium known as Bird’s Nest.

You can appreciate the majestic history of China at the Forbidden City. You will also see other attractive tourist spots such as Tiananmen Square and The Hall of Clocks and Watches.

Today you will tour the Temple of Heaven, where emperors used to pray for a bountiful harvest. Then you will take a Hutong Tour by riding rickshaw through narrow lanes where you will discover the treasures of the old residential quarters of the city. You will also visit the prestigious and well decorated Yonghegong Lama Temple where a Chinese Emperor, who was a devout Tibetan Buddhist, used to live.

After breakfast, you will visit the Summer Palace on a boat cruise and the Garden of Virtue and Harmony. Visitors can visualize the Empress Dowager watching an opera in this garden.  You can also see a large number of precious articles belonging to emperors and empress and gifts that were presented to Qing court on display. After, you will take a flight to Shanghai.

After breakfast, you will visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which appears as ‘twin dragons playing with pearls’.  Then you will see the ancient water township, Qibao Ancient Town, established in Song Dynasty.

Today you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which strives to embody the theme of “city, man, environment, and development”. You will also visit the Yuyuan Garden, one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region. Also, you will visit The Bund, Shanghai’s modern landmarks, lined with historical European styled buildings from 1930s.  Finally, you will visit  Xintiandi, a shopping, eating and entertainment area, and its French concession region.
