Day 01 Arrive in Shanghai Arrive in Shanghai. Meet your local guides and drive to your hotel. Relax and enjoy the rest of your day in your hotel or explore the dynamic city.
B Day 02 Shanghai Today you will visit the Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Market, Shanghai World Financial Center, and The Bund. Yuyuan Garden is a symbol of the south Chinese landscaping style of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is a must for all visitors to Shanghai. At the Yuyuan Market, you can find everything from popular local snacks, crafts, and souvenirs to teahouses, restaurants, and even Starbucks. Shanghai World Financial Center is a multi-use skyscraper that houses offices, hotels, conference rooms, and a shopping mall on the ground floor. The Bund is a beautiful waterfront promenade boasting Art Deco influences.
B Day 03 Shanghai/Guilin Before taking a flight to Guilin, you will take a cruise in Zhouzhuang, an ancient town in Southern China. The town is surrounded by water with many streams and stone bridges and features the use of black tiles and white wells in the old residences.
B Day 04 Guilin For the entire day you will tour the Longji Terraced Fields in the Longsheng area. The fields are built on a slope, winding from the riverside to the mountaintop. The coiling line starts from the foot of the mountain and boasts shining waters in the spring, green rice shoots in the summer, golden rice in the fall, and silvery frost in the winter. The fields were built mostly during the Ming Dynasty about 500 years ago.B Day 05 Guilin(Yangshuo) Today you will have the Li River Cruise, which is considered the best way to enjoy the spectacular views along it.
B,L Day 06 Guilin(Yangshuo)/Beijing In today’s excursion, you will bike your way to Yangshuo Moon Mountain and Yangshuo Big Banyan Tree. After the day’s tour, the phrase “Guilin tops the world’s landscapes” will make sense. You will depart for Beijing by plane.
B Day 07 Beijing Today, you get a chance to appreciate the majestic history of China by visiting the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Your trip continues into the iconic Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Later, you will go on a Hutong Tour riding rickshaw to explore old narrow lanes and traditional courtyard residences.
B Day 08 Beijing This morning, you will visit the Great Wall, built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire. You will also see the Temple of Heaven where emperors used to come to pray for a bountiful harvest. At your farewell dinner, you will be treated to a delectable Peking Roasted Duck dinner.
B,D Day 09 Depart Beijing You will be driven to the airport for your departing flight and the end or your pleasant trip to China.
